Books Closed

No Reopening Date Yet

Large-scale work runs long, and Marcus would rather finish the pieces he has started properly than rush them — so there is no date to announce yet. Everyone on the waitlist is contacted in the order they signed up, and the waitlist is the only way to hear when the books open.

What Marcus is taking on

  • Full bodysuits and traditional Japanese suit work
  • Backpieces — full and partial
  • Full and half sleeves, arm and leg
  • Chest panels, frontpieces and ribs
  • Large-scale wabori built to flow with the body

Minimum size: a half sleeve. At this point in his career Marcus is being selective, and his focus is bodysuits and large-scale work. Working at that scale is what lets a piece be composed properly — laid out to flow with the body rather than sit on it.

What he is not taking

  • Small one-off pieces and standalone designs
  • Anything smaller than a half sleeve
  • Cover-ups of unrelated existing work
  • Lettering, fine-line and script

How the waitlist works

  • Fill in the form with your project idea, placement and rough size
  • You're added to the list in the order you signed up
  • When his books reopen he works down the list and reaches out directly
  • We book an in-person consultation before any design work begins

Waitlist Form

The more detail you give about the project, the better Marcus can plan for it. There's no deposit and no commitment at this stage.
